Waking up in our beachside casita to very nice sunrises and exploring nearby Cayo Coral and Crawl Cay made our stay nice while the attentive service and delicious meals was really nice.

Booked ocean casita king room, that included climate control, a safe, and multi-channel TV. Helpful staff, they helped us a lot. Unbeatable location - a short walk to everywhere we needed.

Incredible location, spectacular views of the garden and ocean and top-class staff. Location just next door to the island, the private beach, and the clubhouse / restaurant. Also, in the jungle...

A true escape from reality

The resort's amazing environment captivated us immediately-white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The pool bar was a perfect spot for refreshing cocktails after a day of kayaking.

Be prepared for the noseeums. They can be quite bothersome! Unfortunately, our room's hot water was also hit or miss .

Rosie and Vince treated us like royalty.

I was impressed by the fine garden view from my Lodge Garden Queen Room. The service from the hosts, Rosie and Vince, was great. The combination of the gorgeous pool area and the opportunity to relax surrounded by lush greenery was a highlight of my vacation.

The beach, while beautiful, had a few noseeums that could be bothersome at times.

had a few noseeums on the beach (really annoying! ). the meals were made from fresh local ingredients, the casita was spacious with a nice view, and the pool was awesome for lounging with drinks.

The staff were cute, and the tours offered were adventurous and enjoyable. The poolside bar was a perfect spot to relax with a refreshing drink after a day of exploring.

The setting of Popa Paradise Beach Resort feels like a slice of heaven. Arriving at the resort, I was immediately struck by the pristine beaches and lush greenery surrounding it. The Casita Ocean King Room offered a spacious and clean environment with great air conditioning. I appreciated the comfortable sitting area and the beautiful patio overlooking the garden. The pool area stood out, it was an inviting space that was perfect for unwinding. I spent a lot of time there, enjoying the drinks from the swim-up bar and soaking up the sunshine. The meals at the resort were quite good. I tried the tuna entree one night, and it was beautifully presented and delicious. Breakfast had a nice variety too. Vince and Rosie, the owners, consistently went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. Their attentiveness. I did encounter several noseeums on the beach, made relaxing outdoors challenging at times. I'd definitely recommend packing strong bug spray for protection. Another point of concern was the limited Wi-Fi access, only in the common areas. I understand the resort promotes an unplugged experience, but a better network could help in emergencies. Minor drawbacks aside, the overall vibe of this island resort is peaceful. I left feeling rejuvenated but cautious about the bug situation. It's something I'd suggest management focus on .

The weather was lovely, staying between 77-84 degrees F. and the fine beach views were just amazing. The beautiful garden at the edge of the jungle made for a lovely backdrop for relaxation. Perfect for unwinding.

The beach was fine, and my kids loved the beautiful sunsets. We stayed in a spacious casita that was like a true escape. The highlight for us was snorkeling off the nearby reefs, where the kids were thrilled to see vibrant fish swimming around.

For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly meal options.

While the beach offers fine views, I experienced several noseeums, made outdoor relaxation a bit challenging, so packing bug spray is a must. The Wi-Fi access is limited to common areas, which wasn't ideal for someone needing to stay connected. Lastly, I noticed that hot water seemed fickle, sometimes taking a while to reach the desired temperature due to propane heater issues.

The beach was beautiful, but the noseeums made our stay uncomfortable.
